Laura & Matthew's Wedding Day // Four Seasons Hotel, Carlingford

When two of your friends get married...

Totally honoured to have been asked to photograph Laura and Matthew's wedding. I got to be photographer that day and wedding guest that evening.

Morning prep was spent with the wonderful Una Doyle Make Up and Sinéad Williams Wedding Hair. These two had Laura and her bridal party looking absolutely stunning, you'll see for yourself in the pictures below. Groom prep was literally across the road. Matthew definitely gets the award for the most laid back groom ever! Look at him all suited and booted with a huge grin on his face ready to go get himself a wife.

It was a short journey to St Anthony's Chapel for this ceremony. This chapel means a lot to Laura so it had to be the place for their wedding ceremony. It was extra special as her close friend, Father Fitzpatrick, married them in front of their families and close friends. Not only did they have a gospel choir for their wedding ceremony but Laura sang at her own wedding, how lovely is that. This was a surprise for us all and one that gave us all goosebumps.

Carlingford Abbey was the stunning backdrop for wedding photos followed by a walk through the streets of Carlingford and a few drinks in PJ O'Hare's. The staff here are fantastic and love to invite the wedding party in to pull a pint of Guinness in their bar.

Laura and Matthew had their reception in the Four Seasons Hotel. Their room was beautifully decorated, their meal was delicious and the staff were amazing, they couldn't do enough for the newlyweds and their guests.
