Why me as your wedding photographer...
You like my style of photography and want your wedding photos to be similar in style.
This is an important one as I need you to envision what you want your wedding photos to look like and if that matches my style, then I'm your girl.
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, so finding a photographer you can trust and have a laugh with is also important. This is why I recommend having an engagement shoot or pre-wedding shoot, no better way to make your wedding a relaxed and enjoyable experience as you will get to know me and get used to being in front of the camera... plus think of the photos you'll get and you can use them for your big day. Before your wedding day, we will also be in contact with each other via phone calls and emails. All of these will help you see the type of person I am and how my friendly, chatty personality can put you at ease.
Wedding days can be stressful and hectic but I will be there, working very hard to help make it less stressful and keep you comfortable and laughing. When you are both of these, your photos are less awkward and your gallery will be full of laughing, smiling faces. Though please do remember some of your photos will be posed, you may have asked for some group photos and posed shots. I will help make you feel comfortable and natural, not stiff and awkward, these moments are part of your wedding day, so they should be fun and enjoyable.
I promise, that on your wedding day, I will keep calm, to keep you calm, have a tissue ready if anyone needs it, help with the dress, fix your make up if needed and try my very best to fix a buttonhole (though I still haven't perfected this one). It's a privilege to be a part of a couples wedding day and I do my best, and more, to create photographs that you will love forever and ever. I will be there capturing the love, laughter and atmosphere of your day as it unfolds.
